Tips to beat Procrastination

  1. Get an agenda that has a page for you to write down your goals. Set those goals and mark the off weekly!

  2. Set small goals. When you accomplish your small and simple goals, you will feel a sense of accomplishment. That feeling will make you feel like you can take on the bigger tasks.

  3. Set reminders on your phone. You look at your phone everyday and that calendar comes in handy, especially when you can set alerts.

  4. Having an accountability partner helps! Especially if you share some of the same goals. Keep each other motivated and stay on the same track. You will push each other to get things done.

  5. As much as it pains me to say this, waking up early! When you wake early, you can take charge of your day. I use to sleep until the last minute, but I’ve made it a habit to wake up 2 hours earlier than I normally would for work. That way, I don’t feel rushed and I can know some things out before I start my work day.

  6. Practice mindfulness. Countless times I called myself “working” and look up to see 2 hours has passed by of me doing nothing but scrolling through social media. Be aware of your time and things that are not productive.
