Summer is only a few days away which means summer vacations are near and what better place to vacation in the summer than Miami? I recently had a chance to visit Kimpton EPIC Miami, right in the heart of downtown Brickell area. The hotel has the most gorgeous rooftop views with a restaurant and lounge, poolside cabanas, and so much more. Here are the details of my stay!
EPIC Miami Lobby
Walking into the lobby feels like vacation. The large open space includes ample amount of seating and a workspace area with beautiful views of Biscayne Bay.
EPIC Miami has a gorgeous lobby that is filled with natural sunlight and water views from Biscayne Bay. There is plenty of seating and also a beautiful lobby table if you need to get some work done. You will also find Zuma, a Japanese inspired restaurant on the Lobby floor. I will share more about Zuma a little late. But don’t forget happy hour in the lobby from 5pm-6pm!
The Rooms
Hotel Room
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
The room decor, along with the entire hotel is modern and has clean lines. The staff is extremely attentive when it comes to cleanliness and customer service. I received text messages throughout my stay to ensure everything was going okay. Room service is also available if you’re not wanting to go to the restaurants. The bathroom feels luxurious and has both a shower and a separate bathtub for relaxation. My absolute favorite part about the hotel room is the view. Most rooms comes with either a city view of water view, which is breathtaking. The view gets even better at night!
AREA 31
Area 31 is EPIC’s indoor and outdoor lounge/restaurant area which is open most of the day. For more details on Area31 click here.
Area 31 is the hotel’s restaurant that is open for breakfast, poolside service, dinner, and Brunch on the weekends. I love that Area 31 has both an indoor and outdoor lounge to dine. You can enjoy a peaceful breakfast inside or enjoy the outdoor lounge overlooking Downtown Miami and a view of the pool. Area 31 is also the menu used to order room service. EPIC Miami Pool
EPIC’s pool is located on the 16th floor and has the most beautiful cityviews.
EPIC Miami’s Pool area is probably the highlight of the hotel. It’s on the 16th floor right outside of Area 31. There are 2 pools, one heated along with plenty of seating and cabanas available for purchase. Area 31 has a separate pool menu for food/drinks (get the prosecco popsicle!). I spent most of my day there on Sunday and there was a live DJ. The views from the pool are immaculate! You can catch a view of the city or catch of view or Biscayne Bay, either way, you won’t be disappointed!
Zuma

Zuma is a Japanese inspired restaurant that is located in the lobby of the hotel. I had the best passionfruit and chili margarita while dining. The restaurant had a live DJ, moody vibes, and overall a good feel with good food. The restaurant is dimly lit with a small light at each table. You can choose to sit inside or outside by the water which is a great view! If you want to enjoy a night out without leaving the hotel, Zuma is definitely the place to be. They close at 11:30pm on Friday and Saturday and 11pm during the week. Visit ZUMA here.
My Overall Stay
Overall, my stay was 10/10. I will choose EPIC Miami again and again. I first visited this hotel in 2017 and have been coming back every year since then. It was a pleasure visiting as always. If you are ever in Miami and looking for a hotel with great views, great entertainment, and great customer service, make sure you visit EPIC Miami! You will enjoy every bit of it!
